Blooming Heaters

Heaters are made of shape memory alloys-materials that remember two different shapes: one at low temperatures, and one at the high temperature shape.
Training implies that a shape memory can “learn” to behave in a certain way. At normal circumstances, a shape memory alloy “remembers” its low-temperature shape, but upon heating to recover the high-temperature shape, immediately “forgets” the low-temperature shape.
In winter when hetares  are on, their front panels “bloom” forming beautiful 3D pattern on the wall. In summer, when heaters are not in use the  panels close so  that heaters become almost invisible.
